What we offer

Stacks.

While learning anatomy, traditional flashards have been broadly used thanks to their simplicity and effectivness. With Anatom we developed this concept digitaly to get rid of the physical downsides of a physical pile of cards. This digital flascards we called stacks (of anatomical items). The central aspects we have been working on are different ways of randomize elements in order to optimize learning, the use of a colorful scoring system to keep track of your progress and get just the rigt amount of help to keep you motivated and focused. The app design takes a modern approach to the process of memorizing anatomical structures that hopefully will turn this sometimes stressfull task into a little fun game.

Quick and Compact.

Even though our main focus is the creation and use of stacks, we also offer a full on access at any time to the complete database. For when you just what to have a quick glipse at a eg. muscle without wanting to create a stack for it. There you will also encounter all the illustrations and Links mentioned above.

Illustrations and WikiLinks.

The process of memorizing can be quite bumpy sometimes. Being stuck at some point and just needing that tiny push to keep going made us implement ways to get you through. A hint to where the item is located in the body for when you need just a small push to keep going. Fullscreen illustrations for when you need some intermedium help, or simply just dont know the item yet. Our last ressource to keep you on track, are Wikilinks, a Link to Wikipedia (if availeable) or some other sites that give you the full on information.

English, German & Spanish.

At this point we offer this three languages for the stacks, database and app in general. For each of them we redacted a latin version to which it is possible to switch to at any time.

Three different approaches.

Since we all learn in differet ways, we decided to offer three order modes in which items are going to be presented to you. The first mode, more comparable to the traditional flascard, is determined by the anatomical order, with no randomization at all. The second mode is a standard shuffling. The last one, in which the digital capabilities really come to shine, is our own randomization mode that keeps track at the way you answer items and uses this information to decide which item should be presented to you next. That way it prioretizes the ones that still need a bit of work to put on.

Remind yourself.

You can fully customize, by days and daytime, the way in which you get notified for retaking things where you last left them. Only if you want to, of course.

For the late hours.

For those late hours or cold winter days we created a second, quite sleak dark design for Anatom. We sometimes turn it one even when its still bright outside ;)

Improve the app.

We tested our app quite thoroughly in order to offer you the most correct information. But if you may find something that bothers you or just find incorrect we offer every user the posibility to let us know about it from any corner of the app. Just use the little report button to send us a quick anonimous message. This helps us and users.

Red, Yellow and Green

To be able to rate your knowledge, we took a colorful path. Red, yellow and green (and all the shades in between) are going to follow you around our app. It is as simple as it sounds and straight away shows you where you are at.

We try to support old devices al long as possible, testing the dimesions in all kind of screen real estate. For those with still the iconic iPhone SE 1 Gen and those with the latest iPhone 12 Pro Max. Same goes for IPdas and Macs.
